Huron County, ON – Southwestern Ontario’s favourite municipal equipment auction of used and surplus equipment is gearing up, as area municipalities prepare to sell a variety of surplus equipment and vehicles, all to the highest bidder.
The 2013 Municipal Equipment Auction of used County and Municipal equipment will be held on Saturday, September 28, starting at 10:30 AM. This annual event, which attracts buyers from around the province, will be held at the Huron County Highways – Auburn Patrol, Huron County Road #22, 83091 Donnybrook Line, Auburn, Ontario.
A listing and pictures of items offered for sale is available for online viewing from the Huron County Highways’ website (www.huronhighways.blogspot.ca).
Some of the items coming up for sale include: snow plows, tractors, pickup trucks, ambulances, loaders, vans, mowers, small tools, and more. The list is regularly updated as new items arrive.
The auction offers the public and municipalities an opportunity to purchase goods that are surplus and no longer needed by the Counties of Huron, Middlesex, Lambton, Perth and many other participating local municipalities.
All items are offered AS-IS; it is the responsibility of all bidders and buyers to inspect vehicles and equipment to their own satisfaction before bidding. Purchases can be paid for by cash, bank draft or certified cheque and all sales are final.
Only municipal equipment is considered for dispersal in this sale. Municipalities wishing to include equipment in this sale, and participate may call 519.526.7231 for information.
Auction revenue earns money for the participating municipal governments and finds new homes for surplus used equipment.
