Multiple Vehicle Collision – 7 Sent To Hospital

(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) –On May 24, 2015 at 5:00 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 6, south of the Mar Side Road, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Officers attended with Bruce County EMS and the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department to find that a grey Volkswagen crossed the centre line of Highway 6, collided with a livestock trailer being pulled by a pick-up truck, and then collided with a second vehicle, a black Volkswagen. Seven people from the involved vehicles were transported to hospital for assessment of their injuries.

The 47 year old driver of the Grey Volkswagen, from Newmarket, was charged with Careless Driving.
