On March 15, 2016, Waterloo Regional Police responded to an apartment complex near Paulander Avenue, Kitchener for a report of multiple gun shots. Investigation led police to Mooregate Crescent where a number of persons were arrested on outstanding warrants and a variety of offences. Two firearms and ammunition was recovered at the scene. Five adults and one Young Offender were held for Show Cause hearings, or on Warrant.
