(MUNICIPALITY OF BROCKTON, ON) – On Friday, December 28, 2013 at approximately 2:27 a.m., South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a vehicle on Bruce County Road 3 in the Municipality of Brockton in connection to a theft from a Coca-Cola vending machine in the town of Paisley, which had just occurred.
Officers observed various break and enter instruments inside the suspect vehicle, a Dodge Caravan, carrying five occupants – all known to police.
After further investigation, a back pack containing a large quantity of coins was recovered from inside the vehicle, along with black ski masks, gloves, black jackets and sweat shirts, flash lights, screwdrivers, pry bars and hammers.
Cortney Autumn BRIMNER (30); Joseph Peter DIMARCO (32); David IRELAND (24); Patrick Leonard MORGASON (41) and David OAK (50) – all of Hamilton, Ontario were arrested and face a total of 30 charges, including; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000; Possession of Break-In Instruments; Fail to Comply with Probation Order; and Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams.
The accused persons were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
