On August 1, 2013 a male was by the river in the area of the Heffernan Street Bridge with three other males and one female. The three males began punching him in the head causing injuries. The suspects then stole a beige satchel and a black leather wallet containing cash from the victim. The suspects fled on foot towards the downtown.
A 17 year old Guelph male has been charged with robbery with violence. An 18 year old Guelph male has been charged with robbery with violence. A third male is being sought.
