(HURON TWP, ON) – On December 8th, 2010 at 2:51 pm, the South Bruce OPP was called to a collision on Highway 21, near Saratoga Road, in Huron Township. Officers arrived to find a south bound vehicle had crossed the centre line and collided with an MTO patrol truck. The truck driver was assisting an MTO snow blower operator that was clearing the banks along the east side of Highway 21. The MTO employee and both occupants of the south bound vehicle were taken to the South Bruce Grey Health centre in Kincardine for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Highway 21 was closed due to high winds, blowing snow and poor to nil visibility, but has since reopened.
