(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 16, 2015 at approximately 7:30 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter to the Mount Forest Community Centre located on Princess Street in Wellington North Township.
Investigation revealed that the break and enter occurred sometime between November 15, 2015 at approximately 11:00 p.m. and November 16, 2015 at 7:20 a.m. Unknown suspect/s pried open the ground floor window of the manager’s office and gained access to the building. Once inside the office, cash boxes and a microsafe were entered.
Suspects then entered the lobby area and removed the ATM.
The total loss is still to be determined.
OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) officers attended the scene and are assisting with the investigation which is still ongoing at this time.
