(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Monday September 12, 2011 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a motorcycle collision on Hwy. 7/8 near the Little Lakes Curve west of Road 110.
Investigation indicates that the motorcycle was travelling east bound on the highway when it left the travelled portion of the road and entered the south ditch. Impact with the ditch caused the 27 year old male rider from Stratford to be thrown from the machine resulting in him sustaining serious but non life threatening injuries. The male was transported to Stratford General Hospital by Perth County Ambulance. He has since been transported to the London Health Sciences.
East and westbound traffic on Hwy. 7/8 is not affected as the OPP Western Region Technical Traffic Investigation Unit and members of the Perth County OPP continue to investigate this crash.
