Motorcyclist Suffers Life Threatening Injuries After Hitting Curb

On Sunday August 22, 2016 at approximately 6:40 p.m., a motorcycle was travelling northbound on Homer Watson Boulevard near Hanson Avenue in Kitchener. The motorcycle struck the curb on the right side of the roadway causing the rider to lose control and left the roadway. The rider, a 27 year old Kitchener man, was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. Speed is believed to be a factor in this collision. The Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Branch is urging any witnesses to contact them at 519-650-8500 x8856 as the investigation continues.
