On Friday July 8, 2016 at approx. 7:00 a.m., a 26 yr old Cambridge male motorcyclist was driving eastbound on Fountain street in Cambridge. The motorcyclist attempted to pass a motor vehicle in the same direction while it was raining and lost control. The motorcyclist slid into a hydro pole and was taken to Hamilton General hospital with two broken legs. The Waterloo Regional Police are requesting any witnesss contact the Traffic Services branch at 519-653-7700 ext 7856. The investigation continues and charges are pending.
