On Friday July 31, 2015 at 3:27 p.m., a two vehicle collision occurred on Steffler Rd in Woolwich Township between a Pontiac S.U.V. and a Honda Motorcycle. The S.U.V. driver; a 35 yr. old Elmira area Female and her two children were not injured from the collision. The Motorcycle driver; a 23 yr. old Elmira area man was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Both vehicles were destroyed as a result of the collision. Speed is believed to be a factor in this collision. Police are asking any witnesses to the collision to call the Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Branch at (519)653-7700 Ext. 8791 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-TIPS.
