- On May 20, 2015 at 6:32 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Elizabeth Street for the report of a collision between a motorcycle and a bicycle. This incident resulted in minor injuries and the cyclist being charged with changing lanes not in safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
2. Drive over 80mg – arrest
On May 20, 2015 at 7:31 p.m., the Guelph Police received a complaint about a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located driving on Ridgewood Avenue shortly after and a traffic stop was conducted. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
Michael Speziale, 44 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on July 10, 2015.
