(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On July 7, 2019 at approximately 9:05 p.m. a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a motorcycle on Wellington Road 109 at Wellington Road 10 in the Township of Wellington North for a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) infraction.
During the investigation, officers determined that the driver had alcohol in their body and a Roadside Screening Device was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.
