Motor Vehicle Collision – Public Assistance Requested

On Monday October 22, 2012 at 4:37 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Silvercreek Parkway North Guelph near the front entrance to Willow West Mall. Investigation revealed that a motorcycle was northbound on Silvercreek Parkway when it struck a southbound vehicle that turned left in front of it.

The 36-year-old Guelph female driver of the vehicle was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.

The 29-year-old Guelph male driver of the motorcycle was transported to the Guelph General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The motor cycle sustained extensive damage, and the motor vehicle had minor damage.

The collision closed Silvercreek Parkway North between Willow Road and Greengate Road.

The 36-year-old Guelph female driver of the motor vehicle was charged with Turn Not In Safety under the Highway Traffic Act.
