On April 28, 2014, shortly after 4:00 pm, the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of 10th Street East and 4th Avenue East involving an SUV and a van.
One driver was transported to the Grey Bruce Regional Health Center via ambulance where they were treated and released. Both vehicles were towed from the scene as they were totally demolished as a result of the collision. The driver who was taken to the hospital has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to stop for a red traffic signal.
