Shortly after 7:00 p.m. last night, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Erieau Road.
A 39-year-old Harwich Township man was travelling on Erieau Road when he lost control of his vehicle, slid off the roadway and struck a hydro pole. The man was not injured. Damage was estimated at $3000.
The man was charged with careless driving.
