At around 12:30 a.m. this morning, emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Ridge Line near Base Road. A G4S armoured vehicle went into the ditch and rolled onto its side.
The driver and passenger both sustained minor injuries. Officers secured the vehicle while another armoured vehicle attended and took possession of the money. Total damage was estimated at $120,000.
The driver was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
