Shortly after 4:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Richmond Street near Bothwell Street.
An 18-year-old Chatham woman was travelling eastbound on Richmond Street when she rear-ended a vehicle being driven by a 72-year-old Charing Cross woman.
Neither driver was injured. Total damages were estimated at $5500.
The Chatham woman was charged with careless driving.
