Around 12:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on St. Clair Street near Oxley Drive. A 30-year-old woman was driving a cube van when she struck a motorcyclist.
The 64-year-old motorcyclist was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with a serious lower body injury. Total damages were estimated at $10,000.
The woman was charged with turning not in safety.
