Police received numerous calls with regards to a motor vehicle collision at the Blake Street Plaza. Callers reported that an elderly male had struck 2 cars in the parking lot and then struck the building 2 times.
Police arrived to investigate and learned that only one parked car had been struck but the elderly male did strike a pedestrian and shopping cart before running into a fence. All of this took place at a very slow speed and no injuries were sustained.
No charges are going to be laid but the Ministry of Transportation will be notified for a potential licence review of the driver.
