Around noon yesterday, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue in Chatham.
A 52-year-old Chatham woman lost control of her vehicle and struck a hydro pole. She was not injured. Damage was estimated at $5000.
The woman was charged with careless driving.
