At approximately 9:29 p.m. Friday evening the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on St. Clair Street near Third Str. Bridge. The driver, a 16 year old Chatham resident, lost control of his vehicle and struck the bridge, causing $5,000.00 damage to his vehicle. There was no damage to bridge and the driver and passenger were not injured in the crash. The driver was charged with Careless Driving.
