On Thursday October 4, 2012 at 6:15 p.m., a Red Top Taxi was traveling E/B on Wellington Street East when it was struck by a Ford pick-up that pulled out of a plaza parking lot. The taxi driver was transported to the hospital by Guelph Wellington EMS and treated for minor injuries. Both vehicles sustained approximately $9,000.00 in damage.
The 53-year-old Guelph female driver of the Ford was charged with Failing to Yield from a Driveway.
