On the 25th of January 2015 members of the Barrie Police Service Uniform Patrol Division while on general patrol drove upon a single motor vehicle collision which had occurred on County Road #27. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver was travelling at a high rate of speed when he attempted to overtake another vehicle and lost control causing his vehicle to roll over in the ditch. The driver was transported to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
