On 10 December 2014 the Owen Sound Police Service commenced an investigation into recent graffiti found within the city. With the assistance of the public police were able to identify the persons responsible for tagging the term “ESâ€Â.
Two 13 year old males will be dealt with through the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The Owen Sound Police Service has investigated a number of mischief complainants involving graffiti in the last couple of years. This type of mischief is costly, unsightly and totally senseless.
Police would like to thank the citizens who came forward and identified those responsible. Without the public’s assistance these types of crimes are sometimes difficult to solve. Citizens are encouraged to continue to call police or Crime Stoppers with any information related to local crime.
