(KINCARDINE, ON) – On September 5, 2012 at 10:25 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break in at a residence in the 300 block of Mechanics Avenue in Kincardine. Sometime between September 2, 2012 and September 5, 2012, the house was entered and a quantity of firearms was taken after the lock was smashed on the secure storage cabinet. The list of stolen items includes:
Benelli Super Black Eagle pump action shotgun
Brown single shot Cooey shotgun
Browning BPS pump action shotgun
Brown Winchester pump action shotgun
Brown level action Marlin rifle
Black Browning Safari rifle with shoulder strap and scope
Brown Cooey .22 calibre rifle
The value of the stolen guns is estimated to be $6,000. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
