(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron OPP officers arrested a 45 year old male early this morning at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint set up at the intersection of Amberley Road and Diagonal Road. At 12:20 a.m. officers stopped a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck and spoke with the male driver. The driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
Mitchell BRAUN, 45, from Teeswater has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 24, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
