Missing Male Located By OPP Canine And ERT Officers

(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) On Friday May 24, 2013 at approximately 9:00pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a missing 20 year old male from a residence located on Side Road 25 in Wellington North Twp. The male’s family members and police were concerned for his well-being as he functions at a 12 year old level and he was dressed inappropriately for the cold temperatures.

The Wellington County OPP K-9 Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisted uniform members with the search and the male was located approximately 3 1/2 hours later a short distance away from the residence. He was curled up on the ground and sleeping under a table. The male was returned home – very cold but in good health.
