(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday evening January 28, 2012 Perth County OPP officers were advised to be on the lookout for a missing buggy from the Milverton stables (behind the Milverton Fire Hall).
Around 7 p.m. on Friday January 27, the horse and buggy were left in the Milverton stables. Upon the owners return at 7 a.m. the horse was located unharmed and tied up but the buggy was missing. The buggy is described as a four wheeled open style black buggy with no obvious distinguishing marks. The harnesses and blankets were also unaccounted for.
The owner conducted an extensive search throughout Milverton but was unable to find the rig. OPP officers conducted a wider search of the area but no buggy was located. Anyone who may have come across an abandoned buggy or who knows its whereabouts is requested to contact the Perth County OPP.
