Missing – $85,000 Farm Tractor

(HURON EAST, ON) On November 22, 2011 the Huron OPP received a report of a stolen tractor. A business from Quebec reported they purchased a red 2011 model 125 HP Case IH Maxxum Series farm tractor valued at $85,000 from a business located in Huron East, ON.

The purchaser then made arrangements to have the tractor shipped by a third party shipper based out of Quebec. On November 18, 2011 the transport company attended and signed the receipt for transportation and left with the tractor.

The purchaser has yet to receive the farm tractor. Attempts to contact the 3rd party transport company have been unsuccessful to date.

The male driver is described as being 50 to 60 years of age, 5’ 10” tall, approximately 210 lbs, with a French accent. The transport truck is described as sky blue with chrome stacks; the trailer is a 45’ aluminum flatbed 5th wheel with a wooden top deck.
