Mischief Spree In Mount Forest

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On the morning of Friday March 30, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received multiple reports of mischiefs near Main Street South and Wellington Street West, Mount Forest.

Reports indicated that sometime overnight, between March 29, 2018 and March 30, 2018, unknown suspects damaged a display window at the Mount Royal Hotel on Main Street South and a window at the Canada Post on Wellington Street West. It is likely that the suspect(s) would have been travelling by foot.

The OPP are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activities in the area to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
