In the early morning hours of March 28th a Barrie Police officer was flagged down by a cabbie on Duckworth St. The cabbie reported that one of his passengers had thrown his debit machine out the window damaging it. The male was arrested for mischief. While dealing with him, the female passenger became belligerent interfering with the investigation. As the officer attempted to deal with the parties, a second cab approached advising that the same pair had been in his cab and thrown his GPS out the window. A 19 year old Barrie male was charged with two counts of mischief and one count of breach of probation. He was held pending a bail hearing. His sister, also 19 years old, was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and released when sober.
