(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On September 11, 2012 just after 12:00 noon a Huron OPP officer was conducting moving RADAR patrol on Thames Road east of Morrison Line when a red Lincoln was observed traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. The officer activated the RADAR and a speed of 143 km/h was obtained; 53 km/h above the posted 90km/h speed limit.
Michael MOREY, 34, from Port Franks, ON has been issued a summons for “Drive Motor Vehicle – Speeding by 50km/h or moreâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Act Court – Goderich on November 6, 2012. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
