Michael McNally – 140 in an 80

(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TWP, ON.) – On Saturday September 15, 2012 at about 4:58pm Wellington County OPP officers were patrolling southbound on the Fifth Line of Guelph/Eramosa Twp, just south of County Road 22, operating radar and monitoring traffic. At this time and location Constable Kelly Krpan observed a northbound 2006 Mustang passing another motor vehicle well above the speed limit. Police clocked the auto on radar at 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.

Michael McNally aged 25 of Mississauga has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 3, 2012 to answer to the charge.
