(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – On June 16, 2012 at approximately 9:45 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer observed an ATV driving around Port Albert at high speeds. The officer was able to stop the driver of a Can-Am Outlander ATV on Bluewater Veterans Highway at Young’s Point Road.
Upon speaking with the male driver, the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. Michael KELLY, age 31, from Kitchener has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 mgs of alcohol. A court date is scheduled for August 13, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. His vehicle has been impounded for seven days and he received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension. LP12164945
