Michael Crete – Drunk Driving – 90 Day Suspension

On December 5, 2010 at approximately 2:30 am, a vehicle was observed by a Huron OPP officer travelling at a very low rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped by police and upon speaking to the driver the officers formed the grounds that he was impaired by alcohol.

The male was arrested for Impaired Driving and was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two samples of his breath. The readings confirmed that the driver had nearly two times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

As a result of the traffic stop, Michael CRETE (23) of Bluewater was charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on January 27, 2011. His licence was suspended for a period of 90 days as per statute.
