Michael Bradly – Drunk Driving – Doing Donuts Near RIDE Check

(KINCARDINE, ON.) – As of November 22, 2009, 271 people have died on OPP patrolled roadways; 42 of these deaths due to alcohol related collisions. This year’s Festive RIDE initiative runs from November 27, 2009 to January 2, 2010. As the Festive RIDE campaign enters its third week, the South Bruce OPP report 2 more impaired drivers charged.

40 year old Michael Bradley of Whitechurch is facing charges of Operate with Over 80 milligrams and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop along Campbell Street in Lucknow on December 13, 2009. Bradley’s vehicle was observed doing “donuts” in a parking lot near an OPP Festive RIDE checkpoint. After stopping the truck, officers learned that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Bradley is scheduled to appear in Provincial court on February 1, 2010 to answer to the charges.
