Michael Bissett – Stolen Debit Cards

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County OPP officers have arrested and charged a 23 year old male in relation to the use and possession of stolen debit cards. A resident from Brock Street in Goderich had her purse stolen from her vehicle sometime between July 28, 2012 and July 29, 2012. Investigation has since determined the accused used these stolen debit cards to withdraw a quantity of cash from the victim’s account and to make purchases from two businesses in Goderich. As a result, Michael BISSETT, 23, from Goderich was arrested on September 21, 2012. He is charged with four counts each of Possession of Stolen Property and Use Stolen Credit Card. He has been released from custody with a scheduled court appearance on November 5, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Huron County OPP officers would like to remind everyone to always lock your vehicle, remove your keys and valuables. Don’t become a victim of property crime when you can take simple preventative steps to avoid it.
