Just before midnight on January 31st, police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a man that approached him in the area of Gordon and Fountain Street to buy ‘meth’. After receiving a description of the male, police searched the area and were able to locate that suspect a short distance away and arrest him.
Charged with possession of what is believed to be methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and weapons dangerous to the public peace is 23 year-old Peter Debreczeni of Guelph. He was later released and is to appear before the court on March 14, 2017.
