The Waterloo Regional Police Service is committed to community safety and improving the quality of life for all citizens in the Region. As a result of an ongoing investigation, on July 8th, 2015, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search warrant on a residence located on Queen Street North in the City of Kitchener. As a result of the search warrant a 51 year old male was arrested. As a result of the search police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and prescription pills (estimated street value over $28000)as well as drug paraphernalia, prohibited weapons, weapons and suspected stolen property. More arrests are anticipated and further charges are expected. The Kitchener male was held for a bail hearing to appear in Court on July 9th, 2015 for drug, weapons, and possession of stolen property charges.
