Methamphetamine Bust In Palmerston – Drumond, Brown & KLONIKOWSKI

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On Wednesday February 14, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit with the assistance of Wellington County OPP, West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, the West Region Emergency Response Team, and West Region Canine executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Inkerman Street, in the Town of Palmerston.

As a result of the warrant Police seized methamphetamine, oxycodone, morphine, ecstasy and cannabis marihuana with an estimated combined street value in excess of $35,000.00.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, a stolen motorcycle, and two prohibited weapons.

31-year-old Mathew Drumond of Palmerston was arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of morphine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of MDMA (ecstasy) for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking

Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon x2

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.00

Fail to comply with probation order x 2

Fail to comply with weapons prohibition order x 6

42-year-old Jason Brown of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of morphine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of MDMA (ecstasy) for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of methamphetamine

Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon x 2

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.00

Fail to comply with weapons prohibition order x 2

26-year-old Samantha KLONIKOWSKI of Palmerston was arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of morphine for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of MDMA (ecstasy) for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking

Possession of methamphetamine

Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon x 2

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.00

All accused parties were held for bail.
