Methamphetamine Bust In Owen Sound

On November 5, 2015 members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit were conducting an investigation into the drug trafficking activity at an east side residence. The investigation led to the arrest of a man in the downtown area and a subsequent search warrant for his residence executed by the Drug Unit and the Criminal Investigations Branch. The arrest and search warrant yielded quantities of Crystal Methamphetamine, marihuana, cannabis resin and narcotics including Oxycodone, Morphine and Codeine. Officers also seized a quantity of cash believed to be the proceeds of drug trafficking. The combination of the drugs and cash seized was approximately $3500.00. John Robertson, 50 years of Owen Sound has been held in custody for a bail hearing on November 6, 2015 charged with the following offences:

Possession of Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of Morphine for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of the Proceeds of Crime under five thousand dollars

Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of Codeine for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of Marihuana for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of Cannabis resin
