(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Thursday, March 29, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of the OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at residences on Main Street West in the Municipality of North Perth.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana, fentanyl, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Thirty-two-year old Trevor KOEHLER of the Municipality of North Perth was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, and possession of ammunition while prohibited.
Sixty-two-year old Terry RUSHTON of the Municipality of North Perth was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of fentanyl, and possession of methamphetamine.
Both were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
