Methamphetamine Bust In Harriston – Name Released

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On October 6, 2015, uniform members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Street Crime Unit (SCU) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at a residence located on Elora Street North in Harriston, Town of Minto.

Police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, marihuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.

32-year-old John REED of Harriston has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams and Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 20, 2015 to answer to his charges.
