(GODERICH, ON) – On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Huron Road in the Town of Goderich.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, and cannabis marihuana. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $2,950.
Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash. The estimated, combined value of the offence related property is $1,400.
Joel HILL, 52 years of age from Goderich is charged with Possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Oxycodone for the Purposes of Trafficking. He is also charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana.
He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 19, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
