Methamphetamine Bust – BAILEY, SULLIVAN, LINDSAY & WEICKERT

(PERTH EAST, ON) -The collaborative efforts of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Community Street Crime Units from Huron-Perth, Grey-Bruce and the Stratford Police Service-Street Crime Unit resulted in the arrest of four individuals.

On November 28th, 2017, a traffic stop was conducted in the Township of Perth East, Perth County. The stop resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and cannabis marihuana. As a result, a male and female were arrested and charged. A thorough investigation led to the arrest and charge of two individuals who were held for a bail hearing in Stratford.

Forty-three-year-old, David SULLIVAN of the City of Stratford was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,

Possession of Methamphetamine,

Possession of Marihuana,

Possession of a Prohibited Weapon,

Possession of a Prohibited Weapon While Prohibited.

Forty-three-year-old Christina BAILEY of the City of Stratford was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking and

Possession Methamphetamine

On November 28th, 2017, members of the of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Community Street Crime Units from Huron-Perth, Grey-Bruce, the Stratford Police Service-Street Crime Unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant to Search at a property located on Maple Keys Line, Huron East, Huron County. As a result of the investigation, Police seized methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana, cannabis resin solid and cannabis resin liquid.

Thirty-one-year-old, Joseph LINDSAY of Huron East was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking,

Possession of Cannabis Resin – solid for the Purpose of Trafficking, and

Possession of Cannabis Resin – liquid for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Twenty-eight-year-old, Tasia WEICKERT of Huron East was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking,

Possession of Cannabis Resin – solid for the Purpose of Trafficking, and

Possession of Cannabis Resin – liquid for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Joseph LINDSAY and Tasia WEICKERT were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to attend court on a later date.

The combined estimated street value of the Controlled Substances, as a result of the traffic stop and the execution of the Search Warrant, was $52,000.00.
