On July 31, 2016 at approximately 11:20pm, police, while on general proactive patrol, stopped a male for a traffic offence at the intersection of King Street W and Queen Street in the City of Kitchener. It was determined that the male was breaching his recognizance and he was subsequently arrested. A search of the male led to the discovery of approximately 5.3g of suspected heroin; 1.3g of suspected crystal meth; and two vials of suspected fentanyl. The male has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin, Methamphetamine, as well as multiple probation and recognizance breaches. He was held at Central Division for a Bail Hearing on August 1st 2016. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $3000.00
