Metal Theft by Meth Head

On November 11, 2014 at 7:21 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a business on Speedvale Avenue West for a break and enter. An employee of the business had arrived at work to find a man on bicycle with a trailer full of metal belonging to the business and called police. Police arrested the man at the scene. A search subsequent to his arrest discovered a small quantity of Crystal Meth.

A 45-year-old Guelph man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, break and enter, possession of break and enter tools and possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
