(WIARTON, ON) –On July 11, 2016 at 12:20 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a mischief to property, which occurred at the Spirit Rock Conservation Area, Wiarton, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Sometime between the morning of July 8 and July 11, 2016 unknown suspects attended the Spirit Rock Conservation Area. This favourite historical site is home to the McNeill Estate and the Corran which was built in 1882, and located along the Bruce Trail.
Suspects spray painted various numbers, pictures and symbols over a large portion of the stone ruin. The damage is estimated at $2000.00.
