DRIVER CHARGED AT SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

(CHESLEY, ON) On March 16, 2013 at 3:33 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash on Thomas Street in Chesley. Officers arrived and saw a Silver Pontiac Sunfire had left the roadway and struck the Antique Shop. The driver was located nearby and arrested. 19 year old Matthew HARRISON of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with Fail to remain, Operate unsafe vehicle, Drive with no licence, Operate vehicle with no insurance and Use unauthorized licence plate. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 16, 2013 to answer to the charges. There is no estimate of damages at this time.
